Custom Brand & Website Design For Therapist

Chris, the owner of Anchored Hope, needed a rebrand as well as a website overhaul for her counseling business. She was looking for something that represented her fun, calm and nurturing style. Let’s go over what we did step by step to reinvent and elevate her wellness business.

Our custom logo for Anchored Hope, a Christian based business

Step 1: Branding Strategy Session

The first thing we did was have a branding strategy session. This session is an important and one of my favorite parts of the process. We started with a deep dive into Chris' brand through a thorough brand strategy encompassing her:

  • Mission & Vision

  • Brand Values

  • Goals for her business

  • Who her target audience is

  • Who she wants to be attracting, and

  • Her approach and messaging through marketing efforts

The session was a success, and then it was time to begin the fun part - the design process.

Step 2: Moodboard Design

After we concluded the strategy session, we created a mood board. Moodboard is an important part of creating the perfect aesthetic for your brand. Other reasons why mood boards are essential because they:

  • Create visual exploration

  • Inspire creativity

  • Establish consistency brand look and feel

  • Encourage collaboration and communication

  • Guide decision-making in design choices such as color palettes, font styles, photography, etc.

With Chris, she wanted an inviting look. Her moodboard consisted of ocean blues, sun yellows, and warm ocean views. It inspired me a lot to create her designs.

Step 3: The Custom Design

Our custom branding is more than designs; they’re the transformation of your brand. This part is a neat process to bring everything together: our strategy session, the mood board, and our design skills to make a unique and custom brand design for Chris and her private therapy practice. I designed brand variations and shared them for review - she loved how they turned out. Check them out below.

Step 4: Website Design & Reveal

After completing the custom brand designs, we moved on to her website. It was created in Squarespace, using all her brand elements, colors, etc. Chris’s counseling website received a fresh revamp on every page. I love Squarespace and how it can transform businesses' online presence. If you want to learn more about why I prefer this all-in-one website, please read my post about why I always chose Squarespace. Check out the reveal below.
