Nailing down the right type of logo is an essential step in your entrepreneurship journey. You can (and should!) have more than one logo! In order to create a real wow-worthy, stand-out, memorable brand - different variants of your logo is a must. Logo variations are a fantastic way to rearrange your primary logo design and allow your logo to make multiple identities. Let’s explore the four different types of brand logos
PRIMARY LOGO
Literally the primary or “main” logo, the biggest logo with the most detail, tagline, location, icons, descriptive words and/or an established date (all depending on what you want!). All subsequent logos are dissected from this logo.
SECONDARY LOGO
Another “main” way to present your logo, but with less design elements surrounding. For this logo I tend to remove any creative elements and tag lines, and focus on the brand name. It in essence, it could be very similar to the main logo, with the elements rearranged to fit a different space (horizontally or vertically).
SUBMARK
ICON
